The ranch has a strong connection with animals. Ted operates the Big Bear Animal Rescue Community, which boasts over 3,900 active followers on Facebook. He is deeply involved in ensuring that dogs and cats are not euthanized at the Big Bear Animal Pound. Additionally, Ted educates children about the responsibilities associated with animal rescue through his venture, Stuffin' Animals, a concept similar to Build A Bear, but hosted at Teddy Bear's Ranch and Ghost Town in the Tipi or other unique locations.
